Evening i have an 05 expedition 38n bought used.
Fleetwood e1 roof leak.
Leaking is a common problem when it comes to air conditioners in recreational vehicles.
If you have a fleewood e series with a filon roof and have leaking bubble in your roof i found a great fix vs getting a new roof built.
Finally found source of leak i have at fwd right side above door.
A replacement roof from fleetwood will cost 3000 installed but the wait time is 10 months maybe more just to get the roof.
Here it is important for you to check whether it leaks when the ac is on or when it rains and maybe even if it leaks in both situations.
Just in time when it was mine turn to send me a new roof covered under warranty.
My roof looked exactly the same.
Water dripping in at wall to roof seam above door above where door awning attaches.
Seems to be leaking from.
Using hose on roof i only spayed this area so it s not running under from other parts of roof.
So i am looking for a way to seal this roof once and for all before the leak ruins the entire camper.
As i disassbled the and removed the ceiling panels after having the roof off and drying for 3 months the foam was still wet and the wood on the corner edges was completely disolved and molded.
I knew it had a leak when i bought it last fall but the price was right and i was willing to repair it.
