Fitbit devices that count floors have an altimeter sensor that detects when you go up in elevation.
Fitbit floors flex 2.
The past few days my fitbit versa 2 has been counting 100 200 floors climbed each day when normally i count 5 or 6 a day.
Band is comfortable to wear all day and sleep with at night.
Fitbit flex 2 is the first swim proof device from fitbit meaning it is water resistant to 50 meters.
Worked great right out of the box.
The bangle is beautiful and i wear it stylishly with everything.
Love seeing my activities tracked.
I don t even miss the heart rate monitor or the floors.
Your device uses changes in barometric pressure combined with the steps you take to calculate floors climbed.
We do not recommend wearing flex 2 in a hot tub or sauna.
After swimming or getting the band wet we recommend drying off the band because as with any wearable device it s best for your skin if the band is clean and dry.
It helps to keep me mindful of my day to day activities and how i sleep at night.
Hi dan66 i think your thread title of does flex 2 track floors caused a little confusion there.
Your device registers 1 floor when you climb about 10 feet or 3 meters.
To answer your question.
Your steps will still count but as you say you need to gain 10 feet in height whilst walking to get a floor so it looks like you will miss out on this.
Now i have the flex 2 and i am totally happy.
