Clip your charge 2 to the charging cable and make sure the cable is plugged into a usb port on your computer.
Fitbit charge 2 wont count floors.
That was some weeks ago and i ve had no other problems since then.
Please help trouble shoot.
I tried everything suggested by this community but the problem solved itself when i accidentally let the battery run completely flat.
If your stairs are exactly 10 feet or a bit under it might not always detect it exactly.
You could try raising your arm over your head at the top of stairs to make it look like another foot or so.
To count as a floor it must be at least ten feet elevation change.
So i bought the new fitbit charge 2.

Three days ago it was intermittent and today it won t count them at all.
I got my fitbit charge 2 on feb 16 2018 and it accurately counted the flights of stairs in my home.

In the meantime i switched to the newer fitbit charge hr 2.
Press and hold the side button on your tracker for four seconds.
I recharged and restarted my charge 2 and it started counting floors again.
